Dewman Loc: SW Idaho

Over the past few years, I've accumulated several Pentax K-mount lenses. A couple of them are actual Pentax lenses, the rest are third-party lenses.
All are very clean and function flawlessly. As you can tell by the photos, several are NOS and virtually brand new.

Who makes Sears lenses? http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Sears According to this site, "Sears lenses for SLRs were made by Ricoh." Ricoh is Pentax, for those who didn't know. The Sears 50mm f:1.7 is an extremely sharp prime, manual focus lens. The Sears 60-300mm lens is also pretty good. It has a close-focus ratio of 1:3 IIRC. It's very well made and very heavy!

Both Vivitar lenses are NOS and are very sharp.... with the 28-85mm being remarkable!

All of the lenses listed will work on any digital camera body with a Pentax K-mount. The Pentax 35-80mm and the Takumar 28-80mm Macro are both autofocus lenses.

What does NOS mean? The Pentax 35-80mm and the Takumar 28-80mm both look interesting. I assume neither would offer auto-focus on a digital body (correct me if that's wrong).

Ray, NOS stands for "New, Old Stock." Basically, it's an older model lens that is brand new, but is no longer in production. The two lenses you mentioned are indeed auto-focus and will work just fine on a digital body. All of the lenses listed will work on a Pentax-Mount digital body, but only the Pentax 35-80mm and the Takumar 28-80mm are auto focus.
