Apple TV doesn't show photos: My Apple TV seems to be working (can play iTunes music playlists, podcasts, etc.).......but photos don't show up.....the timer circle just keeps circling)...

My Apple TV seems to be working (can play iTunes music playlists, podcasts, etc.).......but photos don't show up.....the timer circle just keeps circling)

Home photo sharing is on. I've tried restarting.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is this something that just started or have you never been able to show photos?

thanks a lot......turns out I needed to Restart Apple TV......should have thought of that
