Below are some photos from a recent trip to Maine, such a beautiful state, really didn't want to leave. Definitely a photographers paradise.
ah, the Pemaquid Point lighthouse! i was there about 28 years ago, before i got into photography... would love to go back now! it really is a photographers' gold mine, with all the quaint little fishing towns, the spectacular coast, the lovely little bays...
beautiful colors..love the lighthouse
beautiful third shot ... the lay of the rocks and slope of the ridge all lead your eye right up to the lighthouse.
great shots.....Maine is a beautiful part of the Country
Great shots. # 2 is my fav., but I would crop the signs off the top so the eyes could lead me down the ramp .

Love your photos......of course I would, I live here in Maine. Great job, hoping it is ok to add a couple of mine, you may also know of these places too. Do You have any more from Maine, would love to see them.
Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
SQUIRL033: I took a peek at your website . . . Incredibly beautiful images you've capture, I am awestruck sir.
BIPSTER: Thanks for the crop suggestion, I was hoping to use the wood as a built-in frame but I think those signs act as a distraction.
Me-Fl: Definitely don't mind you adding your photos. Love that 1st shot, That white sailboat looks so good against that deep blue water. I can't imagine anyone living in Maine not owning a camera. So much beauty, it's just not fair.
Here's a few more shots from our trip . . .

Wow, Been to Pemaquid many times and NEVER saw that rock as you saw it in your picture. And will not be able to get back there to check it out myself. Now I feel like I have got some really unfinished busy with that place. <G> Thanks for showing off Maine so well.

fawlty, this is not a photo I would normally show on this site, am just because I wanted to see if this might be the rock you took your wonderful shot of the lighthouse from. This was a VERY foggy day, didn't walk down on the rocks...just took pictures from parking area.
