Warsaw Poland has published the names of 8,500 Auschwitz guards in a government drive to remind the world that the death camp was run by the Germans.
The ruling party has objected to such camps being described as Polish.
Jaroslaw Szarek, whose "national remembrance" agency published the list, said:
"This is a response to those saying 'Polish concentration camps'. Go ahead, we are showing you who worked that". (Reuters)

This is so true, many Polish nationals were killed in these camps. They are German Concentration Camps on Polish soil.

As another reminder, the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz was just about two weeks ago (January 27, 1945)

Thanks for the reminder but I never heard that Auschwitz or any concentration camp was anything other than German run.

But don't forget that Jews who were killed there were Polish citizens, turned in to the Nazis by non-Jewish Polish citizens!
