this statement might be less confusing:
"... Leica DG Summilux 25mm f/1.4 ASPH Micro 4/3 Lens is designed for use with ... 4/3 cameras. It provides an angle of view similar to a 50mm lens on a 35mm or full-frame digital camera"

I appreciate the suggestion, however this lens is NOT exclusively for use on Panasonic Lumix G cameras. I used the lens with great success on my Olympus E-PL5 digital camera. In fact, the lens is suitable for any Micro 4/3 camera from Olympus or Panasonic. It should work well with recent MFT cameras such as the Panasonic G8, GH5, GX85, the Olympus O-MD E-M1 MkII or E-M5 MkII.

It's my go to lens when the lights go down. Works really well on the em1ii.
