Here's the same basic photo 3 ways. Which one works best?
Two or three - depends upon your goal.
So prefer it without the people? My intended subject was the fountain, but then I thought the more distant perspective and then the addition of people might make it a more interersting take. Thanks for responding.

#1 it puts the fountain in scale with the trees and people.
#2 has no space - it seems cropped at the top and left - it probably isn't but that is how it looks with the water going out of frame and the statue barely in frame.
#3 has too much driveway.
Thanks. That tends to be my reactio, too, but I do respect the interpretations of others who have responded.
The presence of people definitely makes for a more interesting photo. You might have brought up the shadows a little bit to give some detail to their faces as they're not quite in silhouette
Good point. Thanks. These have had no pp.
The first is excellent. The number of people puts scale on it without things looking crowded. The second feels cramped. The third needs to have the fountain centered. The third might also make an attractive black and white.
Thanks. I see your point exactly.

I like 3 the most, the trees arching over the scene is very attractive.
Thank you. That, to me, was one of the most striking elements of the scene.
I like the ones without the people!
Thanks. This was pretty early a.m.
