I have been reading and enjoying the pictures in this forum for a couple of weeks now. Enjoy the website! Thought it was finally time to introduce myself. From southwest Minnesota and have a love for photography. Just an amateur but learning. This seems like a great place to learn and become more proficient at photography. Started with a Canon 40D (great camera) and recently moved to a 7D. Just learning all the features of the 7D. I take a lot of sports photo's. My son pitches for a college baseball team which brings my camera out. Also love sunsets and rises. Been traveling a little more and makes for photo opportunities. Will post some shots. Hope to interact in this forum.

Hi, mnpacker! I have to say you made a fine photo of your son the pitcher on his college baseball team. But, you added a white circle as the ball. What gives it away, is the base ball is too small. If the ball is coming towards you, it would be larger in size. Depending on your shutter speed, the ball would appear to be sharper in focus. AP
