They're not together, of course, but both pictures were taken in southern Florida in or near the Everglades. (Never seen a white squirrel before. Maybe an albino?) Though I was on a guarded path, the gator was a little bit close for my comfort. I quickly moved away.

I usually smile at a dish of ice cream right before I eat it.

Actually I believe this is white squirrel, not albino. The albino has pink eyes. We had a white squirrel for two years. Came to our feeder everyday to eat. Then suddenly he came no more. That was in 2006. We have not had one since. I would be happy to share a photo here on your thread with your permission.

Ther is a small town southwest of St.Louis , Mo (Marionville) that has all white squirrels, not albinos.

Thank you. We travel/camp quite a bit but have never seen an all-white one before or since.

Thanks for allowing me to share this. This little guy would come everyday and completely eat a half ear of corn.

Very interesting. My brief online lookup said white ones are only found in s.e. Asia.

There have been numerous white squirrels in a park here in Maryville over the years.

There is a town in NW Tennessee where white squirrels are common. Kenton, TN. I understand there is also one in western NC-- Brevard, I think.
