I had occasion to visit The Wildlife for Education at GA. Southern University this past week. Their Raptor
Center houses Raptors that cannot be returned to the wild. These are not caged, but are outside in individual areas.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Golden Eagle's coloring.

Nikon D-7100
300mm f/4 with 1.4 tele
ISO 1000 @ 1/500 sec.

Stunning, love the color and sharpness. I would love to see a full body shot of this bird as well as the head shot.

Bruce, I tried to get a full shot, but he was behind a large boulder & never totally came out
