I bought the Sony a6000 and a FotodioX adapter to use my Canon lenses. Auto focus through the adapter does not work but using the lenses in manual and peaking level on the camera I am able to get acceptable pictures. This one was taken with the Sony a6000, Canon 24-105mm at 105mm f7.1 iso 320 shutter 1/640 -1ev The Sony is a 1.6 crop camera, so the 35mm equivalent is 157mm.
You'd have to post a version with download for anyone to agree or disagree with your assessment. From this thumbnail there might be a bird in a cage, but how sharp is unknowable.
Canon's EF 24-105 models are IS-enabled and rather sharp with full and accurate Auto Focus. What's the use of turning this equipment into manual focus lenses? There's already plenty of older and cheaper lenses that have been and always will be manual focus that can mount with an adapter to a Sony body.
And there's plenty of lenses that mount directly to a Sony body, auto focus completely and don't need an adapter...
This is the fourth time I have tried to post with download, it just not happening. The photodiox adapter will not couple through auto focus despite advertising. In my opinion Sony doesn't have any lenses as good as my Canon glass.
Next to the button <Add Attachment> is a check box identified as: (store original). That's how the attachment becomes downloadable.
Interesting shot, Millismote!
