I was wondering how many of you guys are printing your own images. Are any of you using Image Print by colorbyte?

I print my own! I see it as part of taking the picture (its just the last step of that process)! I use X-Rite i1Display Pro, I do not know Image Print.
I use an Epson 3880 for many years and I'm happy with it!

I print my own, on an Epson 4880 and an HP Z3200. I use Qimage. It is not a RIP, like Imageprint, but it does provide very good image quality using the printers driver, better than the output of the driver by itself, and considerably better than using Lightroom, Photoshop or any other application with a print function.

I suspect that using a good RIP like Imageprint will yield better results on some of the more challenging images. It's not cheap, though.

Many of us own photo printers, and routinely make large color prints.

I started out using Costco and then Aspen Creek Photo lab, but when I could finally afford it, moved to printing my own. I use a Canon 9500 Mkll and a Canon ProGraf 6400. Printing my own gives me more and better control over the final image. By using the ICC profiles provided by paper manufacturers for my printers, I get consistently good results, without the higher price of the lab and shipping, and don't have delays while I wait for the lab to print and ship to me. I print from PhotoShop.

I print my own images using a Canon PIXMA PRO 9000 MK II with the PSE 10 or 14 (if making 11x14's) print software, and am using Red River papers with no complaints.

I have been printing my own for years . My latest printer is a Epson SC p800--17 by 22 inch (replacing an Epson3800) and I am not sure I can see a lot of difference. The price of the inks is a killer so it makes for very expensive printing if one prints only a few , nevertheless I like the control I have over the final product , which indeed is the print. Have also had some large (20 by 30inch) prints done at Cosco and have been quite satisfied by their quality.

If you Print and Matt you can crop to make the best picture, not crop to fit the standard mats GG
