In going through my photos, I found this photo of a large owl sitting on a cactus. What do you think I should do with it in lightroom?
I don't have light room but here is about five minutes worth of work

Make the eyes really glow?
I have Photoshop CS6, and I would first lighten the entire image a bit and raise the contrast slightly. Might require a bit of sharpening. Save all changes to a different file name (...1, ...2, ...3, or ...A, ...B, ...C, etc.) so that you don't loose original changes. The dodge tool can also lighten the subject independently using a soft brush setting.
