Not only is the subject and the presentation fantastic but there is no way to capture your subjects marvelous expression better than you have done. I'm curious about the lighting on the the photo. The overall composition and lighting of the subject is great. How did you accomplish that effect? Was that Photoshop'd or straight out of the camera? Curious for my own education. How'd you do that, the result is fantatstic?

You have to enter this in a local/national competition; I think it is one of the best pictures of a child I have seen.

The only thing done in post was a bit of sharpening to bring out the water droplets. It was late afternoon and only a sliver of sun could creep around the corner between houses so it was a mix of sun and shadow. The rest is just her.
