There are five flies trapped. This is since last night, so it has been a productive day. Technically, not quite Macro as the leaves are about twice the size of the sensor. This is just a screenshot, the full image is 16MB.

I would like to see a higher pixel-count image, as well as higher magnification (same image cropped).
Very interesting. I have never seen one of these, except in pictures, for some reason.

I have attached the larger file and another shot that is a close-up (though a bit blown outs I will try to reshoot it)

Interesting! Is this plant native to your area? Is it outdoors (natural), or indoors (tended)?

this is from the university greenhouse, but it does grow locally, in wet low-nutrient areas.
An interesting plant, I look forward to seeing more of your shots of it.
