Need good book explaining Apple's PHOTOS app.

I see at least four main books on Amazon that claim to explain the newer Apple PHOTOS app. Can anyone recommend what they consider a great book for this? Just bought a new iMac and had to migrate from Snow Leopard to Sierra OS and naturally that includes PHOTOS and not iPhoto. Organizing on PHOTOS does not seem as intuitive as it was with iPhoto.

Yes that's one of the books listed on Amazon, but you didn't give an opinion of the book.... but I do appreciate your taking time to respond.

I find it very helpful, it has a lot of detailed information. I have tried the "Teach Yourself Visually" books, they are ok, but I think the "Missing Manual" books offer more information.
I had the Missing Manual for El Capitan and have the Missing Manual for Sierra.

Thanks Mac. My biggest problem is understanding the organizing in the app. In iPhoto they were imported as a group and I could label them with a descriptive title and even merge the like-groups. I need to read up on the processes to speed up my transition.

The organizing is different, but once you get the hang of it it's easy to follow. I was an Aperture 3 user and liked the cataloging with that much more than Photos.
I did a One-To-One session on Photos and that helped. If that is an option for you I recommend it along with the book.

Lesa Snider is an excellent writer. David Pogue started the Missing Manual for all things Mac series after his long stent as a Dummies Author. Good people to have in your corner if you have a Mac or iOS device. You won't go wrong with anything Lesa Snider writes.

I'm about to migrate to Sierra - what Will happen to my iPhoto ? I have thousands of pictures there.
Will I lose them? Will I be able to access them easily?
Thank you.
