Arctic Circle wildlife

Plenty of wildlife however, you had to be quick on the shutter (no time for tripods and adjustments) and ready to move if need be. The polar bears were leaving there summer area north of Churchill, Manitoba and were heading north over the new forming ice flows toward the Arctic Circle area.

Very nice series, I'll bet that took quite an effort...and patience.

When I was in th ARMY we were doing typhoid research on samples we got from Churchill. Unfortunately I was stuck in the lab at Edgewood, Maryland, so I never got a chance to go to Churchill. Very nice photos.
