Nikon School Classes

Has anybody attended one of the Nikon School Classes? There is one on 'Landscape and Travel Photography' coming to my area that caught my attention. I don't want to go to a basic or beginner class. I am only interested if it is at least an intermediate level.
Do they push Nikon gear at the these events? I'm a Sony guy. I wouldn't mind a chance to try out a D750 or D810 but I don't want to pay $99 to listen to a 3 hour presentation on the wonders of Nikon world.

The ones I 've heard about are nice photos and buy Nikon stuff. Thus, the reason I haven't attended any. I got that information from one of the guys at the camera store I frequent.
