Back again. I finally uploaded all my Picasa photos to Google Photos. There are a lot of duplicates
that I want to delete. But I cannot find a way to do it in Google Photos. Nor can I connect with their
service department. Do any of you Huggers know how to delete photos from Google?

Park on the photo, Check mark upper left, click on it, Shows selected, blue bar on top has trash can.

From the Forum Rules HERE
Try to use descriptive titles when creating new topics. Instead of something like "Please Help", write a title that briefly states the nature of your post. That way, people who know the answer or are interested in that particular topic would be more likely to click on it to read it and post replies.

Disappointing to hear they don't respond.
I've been looking to move our photo galleries at work to something other than Flickr.
(The uploading and interface is cumbersome and hangs up a lot)

It's now between Google and SmugMug.
SmugMug answers fast with real people and extended my trial membership another 2 weeks.
It's not free though.
Haven't needed to ask Google anything yet.
It's free to educational institutions (I work at a university).

My problem was solved by a Hugger. I then looked closer at Google's site and following the choices I was able to find
the section that deals with deleting. I hope you have good luck with them.

If you do a Search here for Help and Question, you will get lots of results.

I know what you mean. I switch back and forth between computers with different keyboards, and I have to make a lot of corrections. Yes, that my excuse. I'm blaming the keyboards.

Photos is great, but it is difficult to do something new. If you look it up online, you'll get answers for a previous version, so it doesn't work. I also had a problem deleting, and a member from England (eccles?) told me how.

CAUTION: This is what I did, but discovered that it also deleted the selected pic from the album in which it was included. Suggestions on how to avoid this will be appreciated. Thanks.
