I apologize for the gyrations but I couldn't readily find the original and I knew that I had posted it before so here is a link to the original post.

It's the third of the set.

The next one was edited in Lightroom and I am fishing for something along the lines of, did I make or better or not so I can adjust my sails.

Here is my take. Removed the spot in the sky, deepened the blue sky, increased clarity and contrast, opened up the shadows on the left, toned down the brightness on the right and straightened the tower. Could not straighten the converging parallels without doing too much cropping. Would have been better editing the raw.

PS Cannot attach file for some reason.

You set your sails correctly, well done.

The converging parallels were quite intentional (comes under the heading of leading lines) and the church needs to lean. That too was intentional. This church tower, located in Delft, is the Dutch version of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I appreciate the effort even if you couldn't upload it.

What I was after was more of a color and exposure thing but feel free to give it another go if you wish, just don't straighten the tower, the Dutch might get upset with both of us.

Thank you. I am still trying to figure out Lightroom so overbaking the processing is something I want to avoid.

The histogram seemed more towards the middle on the edit so it seems that I am heading in the right direction.

Thanks again for the feedback.

This is an interesting take on things. Now the church tower looks straight but the trees are leaning.

The tower is not, in reality, vertical and offsetting the canal accentuated it even more.

Delft is an interesting town, stop in if you are ever in the neighborhood.

Here is my edit which failed to post earlier. File was too large. I plumbed the shot based upon the distant foot bridge. Notice how true the buildings to sides are.

I like it very much and appreciate all of the gyrations that you went through to make it happen.

Well done, thank you.
