UHH Members, I purchased a Sony A55V camera to be able to use my Minolta lenses (and it works great!). However, Photoshop CS6 will not open the Sony Raw.
I downloaded a driver and it worked with PS-CS6, BUT... I could only save the file as a Tiff, not a JPG, which I use in many areas for quick resluts and file sizes.
When I saved the file from TIFF to JPG, it dissapeared from my file. It appeared to go trough the right steps to saving the file, just dissapeared! Even a search turned up nothing!
Does anyone know the name of the CD? And how and where could I download, etc?
I tried the Sony site and wow....even joined their Forum...thousand of questions and some answers, but one must earch...waste of time in my opinion.

PS: I ended up restoring my computer in order to solve the problem in PS-CS6.

You need to upgrade Camera Raw - you can get the first version to support your camera here:

Better yet, get ACR 9.8

Took your advise and downloaded ACT 9.8.
Worked like a champ!!
Did not have any problems with opening the RAW files from the Sony!
And it does not cause problems with PS CS6 as the other file (Driver) I downloaded!
