Wolfman43 here.Have a question on a camera that I came across at a Pawn shop, its a Nikon DX D3100
Lens 18-55 and 55-300. AF-SNIKKOR 55-300 1.45 .5.6 GED. Is there anyone that can give me a opinion about this camera? (I know it's a dumb Question!!) Wondering whether or not if it's a worth while camera to invest in? Price $400. The Price sounds good.

Sounds good to me. Try taking a SD card and battery and checking it out. Check each lens and then take SD card and put into PC to see how the pictures look on screen.

I've had the same camera and lenses for over a year. The D3100 takes great photos and the 300mm lens has good reach.
If they aren't broken, it's a good deal.

I have the same equiptment and am very satisfied. Then again,I am not tryimg to feed a family with my photos.
If the hardware is in good shape you have got a good deal.

My wife bought me the same outfit and I really enjoy this camera. It takes awesome pictures and is really easy to use. Like everyone says, if it all works you can't bet the price.

I have had the D3100 for a little over a year and it has been a wonderful camera! I am about upgrade to the D5100. I am going to trade in my camera with 18-55mm VR lens and all original accessories and Adorama has committed to a minimum of $300.00, maybe more when they confirm the condition. If the 18-55 lens is VR, it is worth 199.00 new. The 55-300mm lens retails for $350.00 and can be bought for $299.00. If the camera includes those two lenses, battery & battery charger, and works - I would say it is a good deal. Try offering less!

Try eBay or Amazon for a charger and extra battery.

That's a great price. But as has been said the best thing to do is actually try all of the equipment out, download to your computer and check out the results. Try every setting and option to make sure they work. I have the same cameara and lenses and like it very much.
