i was reading that sigma has a multi layered sensor camera,i would like to get your opinion on how that will improve picture quality and if it's a comming thing.

it's been out for years - it's not a huge seller

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the reason it hasn't been a huge seller is because it's pricey.
