My new subjects: Trains and Stars. How do you like it?

I have been photographing trains since October of 1974. I have thousands of slides showing this effort, but I wanted to try something new that I have been interested in- astrophotography. Well I thought I would try combining these two together into one shot. It was post-processed in Lightroom and I think it worked out OK. Give me your thoughts on this. PS I am also adding some other pictures I took recently.
Now the technical stuff:
Camera - Canon 6D
Lens - Vivitar 19 mm f3.5 dug out from the film camera bag
Exposure - 20 seconds at f3.5 with an iso , I think, of about 3200.
As the engine passed me, I flashed it with a strobe at 1/8 power. (Yougnu 565 EX II)

I like it as well as the others. The flash explains a lot of the questions I had on first seeing the picture. I think I also see a shooting star.

Nice star shots, but no.1 stands-out as both an original concept and beautiful execution. Really exciting shot, and thanks for the technical low-down. I'm not into flash so would need to composite to get the same effect, even then it wouldn't be up to the standard of yours for we can see movement in the train as well as its frozen image. Great stuff - and the couple of meteors are a bonus!

Oops, sorry, no meteors that night, just plane trails in the sky. When doing 20 to 30 second exposures, planes have a way of leaving their "tracks" behind in the photo.
