Here's another at-a-boy for Cameta. I've bought camera, lenses, flashes etc from them and had great results. And a 1 year warrante is better than 90 days, don't ya think.

Hey Hoggers, looking to get a Nikon D7200 either New or Refurbished. Has anyone had experiences with certified refurbished with Amazon? I see a body only refurbished for $769 with a 90 day warranty. Thanks for any help here.
I bought my D7100 refurbished on Amazon, the seller was Adorama, so I knew that it was the real deal. Make sure the listing states “refurbished by Nikon”, because otherwise it could be anything.

I’d have done that with my D7100 refurb, only the seller was Adorama and it was the standard 90-days for a refurb, same as you’d get from Nikon. I used Amazon Gift Card Credit, so I couldn’t just go to Cameta, directly, unless I wanted to pay out-of-pocket. But next time???? Yep!

Camera camera has refurbished 7200 @ $749 with one year warranty
I was going to say that Canon offers a one year warranty on their rerfurbs.. A 90 day warranty seems a little skimpy. Maybe OK for a used lens.
I too buy my refurbished Nikons from Cameta. They are usually cheaper and faster than the Nikon store.
All Nikon refurb cameras come with a 90-day Nikon warranty. Cameta ups it to a year with a third party warranty for free. Adorama does this too but it is harder to figure out and may have a small fee. I've never needed the warranty.
There should be no problem if you get this from Adorama, B&H photo or the Nikon Store. The d7200 is a great camera.

Go to the Nikon Store. They have refurbished 7200 on sale for $699.95.
They have always charged me sales tax, I have had excellent refurb products and service from Cameta plus they give you a full year warranty.

If you do go with Cameta, anything outside of NY is taxfree (Nikon adds tax for every state). Also Cameta includes a 1-yr warranty whereas Nikon is only 90 days. In the end, it comes out to almost the same and perhaps less $ if you do go with Cameta. You can also get a good price on bundles if you call and speak to one of the sales guys.

You can purchase a referb. directly from Nikon right now for $ 720. Sale ends on 1/16.
Thank for all your replies guys. At this point I'll probably gonna deal with Amazon as I have a Amazon store credit account and go with new. Cameta and B&H are my usual "go to"stores.

I prefer Cameta. I've purchased several Nikon refurbs from them and have had excellent service and transactions. In addition, last I checked they extend the warranty to a full year, parts and labor.
That's not a put-down of Amazon. I do buy there, but for Nikon factory refurb, Cameta is betta. (Sorry, the debil made me.)
I bought a refurbished Nikon D7100 from Cameta. It was perfect, never did check the shutter count, but it works perfectly and looks brand new. Also got a one year warranty to go with it. I also bought a refurbished 55-300 vr lens from them, same thing, perfect ,have had no problems with it either. I would definitely recommend them.
This is Nikon refurbished with a 90 day warranty. Camera gives you a 1 year warranty from the date of delivery also. They are reliable.
