D500 100% image review

I wanted to ask if anyone could tell me if the D500 can be set up to check an image at 100% with one push of a button. I can not seem to find that. My D750 does that and it is very helpful for checking sharpness. Right now it goes to about 70% and you have to hit another once or twice to get to 100%. Thanks for your help.

You can fine tune that feature in the menu.

When reviewing an image on the D500, you can use the touch screen, you can either double tab the screen to zoom in to 100% or pinch zoom (like on a smart phone) and it will automatically stop at 100%, pinch zoom again for greater magnification.

I keep forgetting my D500's have a touch screen, never use it. But I just checked and this works.

Hi Jerry ,

This is the link I found on the run. I am not home from office yet so I cannot say I managed to put it in practice.

Double tap work as mentioned, but you can also set the center button of the multi selector to zoom in 100% as well. Custom functions menu, Controls F2, multi selector center button. Then select Playback mode, Zoom On/Off, and then 1:1 (100%). I find I forget about the touchscreen and end up using the center button on the multi-selector more.

I wanted to thank everyone for the reply and the help. That saved me a lot of time. I tried both methods and they both work great. I took what Steve suggested in Custom F2 and now have it in my menu. This is a great community of photographers.
Cheers!

Both the D810 and D500 enable 100% review by pressing the center button of the control just above the info button, back right side of the camera. Nice thing about this method is that you can then move forward or backwards through all your images by turning the back dial and each image comes up in 100% image mode. To drop back to standard viewing just press the button again.
