This lens has been a go to for landscapes for me. Its sharp, glass is clean and it appears new. I purchased it a year ago as a refurburished from Nikon. Selling this will help me purchase a 14-24 f2.8 that I can also use for astrophotography.

Thanks for the endorsement. It is a great lens and a good wide angle is essential for me. If this doesn't sell, I will keep it and get the less spendy Samyung 14mm F2.8 for night photography.

I use mine for night sky photography on my D800. It works very well at ISO 1600 and 20s exposure. I live in Idaho where we have seriously dark skys.

Yes it is a US model. Nikon refurbished it. The serial number is 314993.
