Playing with Fire

I am a warm blooded soul living in the cold Northeast. Some days here are just too cold for me to go out to shoot, so I started playing with fire. I have taken uncounted shots of flames in the fireplace, and here are some of my favorites. When shooting, I have no idea what images will appear as the shapes change so quickly. I spend hours reviewing my shots, and sometimes comb through them several times before seeing something. These are primarily cropped only. There are no enhancements made to the images themselves as far as changing the shapes or basic view of the fire. Please let me know what you think! I am adding the last photo as one that I did some color editing on through photoshop.
