I am fascinated with your first shot. If this is where you can shoot it again I would love to see a capture of the tree on the left with nothing cut off and without the other tree. As it is the two trees are framing the shot but I think the one tree would make a great subject for its own shot. I would keep it off center to the left. I hope you don't mind this suggestion but I got very enthused looking at the photo.

Minnesota winters can be stunning in their beauty. Cold, crisp air, low humidity, crystal blue sky in the daytime, deep black with magnificant stars at night.

Thank you for your kind comment. I was in the Mille Lacs area. I think it is pretty even in the winter. Love seeing the ice house villages on the lakes.
