Hello Jim. We had these posted a few months ago shortly after I joined, but it is nice to see them posted again. I love looking at old photos like this and I loved getting to see these in particular again. Thanks!

Hi, I love old pictures like these,and I think they teach us not to forget what we learned from our parents of that generation. Even though I'm from England I think whichever country your from,anyone can relate to these images and the story they tell. Not only of hardship, working environments, class division, but also of family values, and, the daily struggle to simply survive, thanks again for the link.

When my father was in the Army in the early 40's, my family lived in Western Ky on my grandfathers farm, and these pictures ran true to many of my life experiences during that time period. This is a classic case of snapshots turning into historicaal documentation. Great picture.
