I am using a Nikon D500 with the latest firmware updates on it. I am pairing it with an iPhone 6s+. This was working fine and then all of a sudden I realized that it was no longer working. I have tried numerous times to get this back up and running. The iPhone sees the camera and it comes up in accessories but then I get the error that they could not pair. I have restarted my phone several times. I can't figure out anything else to try. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on how to resolve the issue?

I have a heck of a time keeping the D500 paired to my iPad in the store, typically have to re-boot the tablet to get it paired again. No troubles at all pairing, or keeping it paired with my Android phone, its like they were made for each other.
You probably already checked this, but do you have the latest version of the D500 firmware loaded onto your camera? (
http://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/download/fw/205.html) They released version 1.11 late last year and this may help as Nikon says they : Added support for the iOS version of SnapBridge."
Hope this helps

I checked the firmware and it is the latest version. This worked when I got the camera (late in Dec.) but then just quit working.
Snapbridge isn't the greatest software.. Just sayin...

Probably it is a problem with your phone which is made in China. Iphone and other Apple products are well known for having problems connecting, even to common wifi networks. But you could also try to reset your camera. In the manual you will get the info for doing that.

Same here. I think I will just give up. Will get a remote release.
