Looks great in download!!!
Did you take a tour?
If so, which company?
Any tips for everyone?
Thanks, Pat
Very beautiful. Great shot. Cheers.
Love that narrow pink/purple band of the horizon that also tints the clouds.
Very interesting subject. Sky compliments the main subject. Generally well done.
Cloud shadow on subject distracts. Dark foreground distracts as well: This subject should stand apart from this FG to maximize attention to it. The main subjects looks slightly underexposed.
Composition and framing everything when photographing such subjects.
As a landscape photographer, I feel compelled to visit Monument Valley, with this photograph prompting me all the more.

Thanks for the comment, Pat.
No, we did not take the tour. We paid the admission and drove through on our own, taking the time to stop anywhere and everywhere we wanted. I think there are advantages to doing it both ways, but we chose to do it on our own. While on our trek, we saw more folks driving on their own than taking the tour--good or bad, I don't know. The advantage of going on our own, to me, was that we didn't have any time constraints.
