Hi folks! I'm new here and this is my question: Is the LCD screen of Nikon D750 a touch screen? (meaning you can change camera parameters and set up by just using your finger). I saw this feature in one Canon camera. I am ready to upgrade from D5300 to a full frame and I hear a lot of good things about the D750. I like landscapes and portraits. I have 2 DX lenses (the kit 18-55 and the 55-200) and a prime FX (50mm f1.8) that I love to use (talk about bokeh!). I looked in the Nikon web site and it did not mention if it is or is not. Thanks for your kind indulgence!

Although it's not a touchscreen, it does tilt, and it's attached to a great camera. Do some comparisons between the two bodies.

Read comparisons and specs, and decide what features are important to you.

There are two touchscreens in the Nikon DSLR lineup of which I'm aware. One is the D5 (FF $6500) and the other is the D500 (DX $2k). Both work wonderfully as I own and use both. Initially I had thought "Oh, just another gimmick" but I find I both like the concept and use it regularly. Best of luck.

Thanks a lot for all your replies. Now I think I have to consider other models or brands as options. Any recommendations?

Or reconsider why you need a touchscreen to operate a DSLR. You can program most functions on a Nikon body to various buttons or control wheels. Once programed to your liking there is no reason to change the set up.

I beg to differ. I don't use the touchscreen to program my cameras, but I do use it to look at images to check focus, clarity, noise etc. I could live without doing that, but I appreciate that I can use them. I didn't buy either camera because it had the touchscreen, it simply came with the bodies that I felt I needed. Nice feature. Works for me. Best of luck.
