Sherman Ink Cartridges

Just bought a Canon MG7720 printer and love the results using the ink included with the printer. I'm now getting low and have been searching the net for a solution to very expensive Canon ink. Amazon is carrying Sherman cartridges for this printer. The reviews are favorable but it isn't clear in most cases whether those who have posted reviews have done much photo printing. Obviously my question is whether to buy the Sherman cartridges or stay with the Canon cartridges. Don't beat me up; if you are a serious photo printer I'd simply value your honest opinion.

I advertise my wild life photos in a friend's restaurant and don't do too bad. I haven't used Canon ink since the canisters that came with the printer ran out. I use LD ink and haven't had any problems

I have printed scores of 13x19-inch prints on my Canon Pro-100 printer, using LD Products ink cartridges, which have an outstanding reputation. I have no experience with Sherman ink cartridges.

What is your experience with receiving "leakers"? Even though LD's website says that 87% of reviewers would recommend LD's cartridges, the biggest complaint coming from the remaining 13% is "leakers".

I use Canon papers. The ICC codes are the same for LD Product and Canon inks.

Never had a problem.

Thanks for the feedback. It helps my decision. I have a question into Red River concerning compatibility of their papers with the LD product. I suppose that given that the ICC codes are the same for Canon and LD inks, there should be no issue with the Red River papers.

I have read very good reviews of Red River papers. Red River ICC codes should work just fine.
