First it is not a scanner but a camera with a small 14MP cmos sensor. I have a similar unit that does an OK job but nothing to Bragg about. There are more pricey units that will give much better results. If you only want snapshots of your collection then this is an acceptable and quick unit. If i need a really good scan for processing i use my Epson V600, if just want snaps I use the Wolverine which is basically the same unit as the JUMBL.

You are most welcome. They are good for quick work but If you need to do restoration or a lot of processing then move on to a better scanner.

I, too, used a wolverine to digitally convert my slides and was quite satisfied with the results. Very quick at just 4-5 seconds per slide compared to several minutes with a regular scanner. I wanted decent quality for computer screen viewing and sending pics to family and it served my purpose. I had also sent a group of slides to ScanCafe who in turn sent them to INDIA. Took over two months and I didn't feel the results were much better. However, like I said I am not a pixel peeper and just wanted good display. Sold the wolverine on eBay when my conversion was done.
