**SOLD** Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC

This lens has just returned from Tamron service. It was given a courtesy cleaning, checkup and firmware upgrade. All glass is good and includes both caps, hood, tripod ring with Kirk arca swiss compatible plate. Lock switch, AF switch, distance switch, VC switch, focus ring, and zoom ring work just as new. Hood does have some minor scuffing.

This lens produced good pictures at 600mm on my D7100..also for sale. I am replacing this lens with the Nikon 200-500 and a TC 1.4.

$700. Price includes shipping to North America. Tamrons 6 year warrenty does NOT transfer.

Dont know why it says repair live view issue. There was none. Maybe to cover the latest firmware update?

Have you ever evaluated it's sharpness on a FX body? Using it on a DX body doesn't require edge to edge coverage since the sensor is smaller. That is why I am asking.

I have used it on my D810. Since it doesnt have the reach of the D7100 I have usually cropped those. Sharp enough.

Nobody is going to deny that the 200-500 f4 VR is a great lens and I bet its AF is superior to what you have in your Tamron lens. I do not know how often you shoot wildlife but I see you loosing those 100mm extra that could come very handy.
I do not own this lens and most of my wildlife shooting is done with the old Nikon 80-400 VR but the pictures I have seen from the Tamron are pretty sharp when good techniques were used.
Good luck with the sale.
