I feel that you have done an excellent job on this shot. The bird is sharp - sharp eye and good feather detail. The background is soft and smooth with no distractions. The composition seems balanced to me. Well done.

i like the subject, you composed it nicely, the eye sparkle is great, and it's nice and sharp!

In addition to nice, I find the horizonatal color bars to be a little distracting. Perhaps a different angle, or, set up a solid colored poster board, perhaps a dark green, and then knock it out of the park with your image.
