I have a Canon 1D Mark III with very little shots taken. I have all that came with camera including box. This camera is in excellent shape and not a blemish or mark on the camera. This camera works flawlessly in every detail. I have multiple other DSLR's and this one was only on my 500 mm lens. New $4,999 I'm selling mine for $2,000. Contact me at gotahave@bellsouth.net for any questions.

I am very curious. Why in the world would you take a $3000 loss on a new camera? It can't be old. Any dealer would buy it back for twice that amount. This sort of sounds like a case of "if it sounds too good to be true...." Sorry, but those are just my thoughts.

i could be interseted, shooting with a t2i,looking for somthing faster
I've had the camera for 3 years and love it. Dealers will only buy it back for about $1,800 and sit on it and post it for $2,400. They can sit on it because they have more traffic then I would. I had it for $2,100 on Craig's list and got tons of interested people, but most are scams and I don't want to ship to a phoney person who wants to use a hijacked paypal account. I will sell in person cash only. I would like to get the 1Dx and need this to tie the loose ends.
It is as explained, in perfect condition, not a mark on it and Yes a USA not gray market, and every single button and lever and dial work as designed. As you can see I have all equipment that came in the box. I have 3 other DSLR's and all my cameras and lenses are mark free and work perfectly. I'm very picky about my equipment being in good condition. I just want to sell it now, not 3 mos. from now.

Molly: The camera in question is not current. It is true they did sell for the stated amount. What he is asking, is all the camera is worth on the used market. I picked up one of these bodies for what he is asking for his. It is a great camera for the money, especially if it hasn't been used a lot. The camera body is weather proof and has the fastest shooting speed of any of the canon bodies out there. It is a very heavy body to use, and you need to keep that in mind. Just my 2 cents worth.

I guess I put my foot in my mouth on this one and I do apologize to gotahave. Before I bought my 7d, I researched other cameras and the price that he is selling this one for seemed too good to be true.
Accepted, no problem. When you get older like me you get not to judge so fast and do the homework first. This camera is much faster then the 7D[yes, I have one of those also] even though it is only really 2 more FPS faster. I just feels like the Pro camera it is. The 7D feels like a little bit of a toy compared to a pro camera. I also like the 7D, but not in the same class.
