Hello I have a Nicon 4600 laptop witht bite storage. I have never done any software. I want to know if Photo explsion version 5 would be good to start with sence I'm not reat tex savy? The cost with rebate will be about $29.00. Is there a better choice for me?
Hope everyone had a happy new year. you can PM me if you like.

I have never heard of that software.
There is free software (which you can make a donation to the author) like Faststone Image Viewer.
It is really good software and allows a lot of adjustments.
Also most camera's come with their own software for editing images.
There is more expensive software but with much higher capabilities like Photoshop Elements and of course what a lot of people use, Lightroom/Photoshop which you can get for $10/mo USD. There is certainly a lot more available and I am sure you will get a lot of opinions here.

You usually never really own the software you are licensing the right to use the software.
