Thanks for your input. I took these a few weeks ago. there's a sad story behind this. He's dying of cancer. He's a real nice sweet dog and he and I get along great. I think I'm going to be as upset as she is when he passes. I wanted to take a nice shot for her. He's not doing very well now.

Thats very sad to hear Foathog,it's always a upsetting to lose a friend.

While I like no.2 the best they are all good and I would give her all three.

I tend to like #1, but it makes him look like he'd being held in one of those clamp things that ranchers use for holding cattle when they have to do 'nasty things' to them. Perhaps #3 makes a better memory photo.
In the final analysis, I agree with Bassman, print and give her all three.
I love number two. What a nice thing for you to do.
I think #1 shows the most character.
Beautiful shots of such a cutie! I'd print #1 for her!
