Powerful portraits. Maybe not pretty per se; but full of spirit. My wife is a huge fan of early music. We will have to look this woman up. Thank you for posting.

You've gifted us with some fascinating portraits. The second one is certainly a standalone that she should be proud to have framed. The set as a whole is also very powerful, as has been noted. You captured the essence of a person, which is what we all wish to do. That she has a lifetime etched into her expressive face helps, but it also works because of the detail, the angle and the lighting, which are the choices of the photographer.
