It's a good one, but not as sharp or ornate as Regis's shots; but it is a good one, better than mine,

Very Nice shot. But I hope your intention were not to compete with Regis. He knows how to get the absolute best out of his Canon 100-400mm lens and 1.4X teleconverter.

It is a fine shot and does Regis proud because you thought of him ... as we all do when the Eagles fly and the Ospreys ...

Thanks for the compliment. But I hope I did not give the impression I am trying to compete with Regis. No way am I trying to compete with Regis. I admire all the Eagle photos that he posts. In St. Louis we only get the opportunity to photograph Eagles for a couple months each year depending on the weather. I wish I was even close to as good as Regis is at photographing eagles.

When I saw this eagle, the first thing that came to mind was that I wish Regis was with me and give me some tips on how to photograph it.

I realized later that you were complimenting Regis and not competing with him. My misunderstanding. At least you got an Eagle shot. I've yet to see one in years. Keep on taking good shots.

Well that is not all bad , when ever I go out side I see them . Even if I stay in and look out window I have a good chance of seeing a couple , and another good
Thing , you don't have to put a hat on , if you know what I mean , those things can carry a lot of excess "stuff "

Well your not going to get what Reag gets with that lens it's probable a 300mm max and a cheap one at that , so don't
compare to his gear , his what ? Over $6 or $7000 lens and a doubler , it would be a shot if you could pull it in close and frame ir depending if it was sharp ,it looks like my 70-300 at the most , and it is not a good picture , is it me it doesent matter what kind of shot is put on the hog , it's almost a given every one will praise it , we Canadians I think are more likely to tell the truth , if it's a crappy picture say it ,never mind all the other fudging tell it as you see it , where all grown ups we can Handel , I have seen the the most afull pictures in these with nothing but praise towards it , come on gang it's not what your striving for I hope ,
