What is your favorite/ preferred portable device that you use, at least partially to show off your digital pictures to friends ? For example, an iPad, tablet, netbook, or high resolution laptop ?

It seems that I read somewhere that the iPad has the very highest resolution of all such devices… do any of you know if that is true ?

What do you prefer, and why ?

thanks !!

iPhone or iPad or MacBook Pro... because they are general purpose devices that work together through the iCloud server farm, and they have great displays.

I prefer the ipad because of the portability of it. I use an app called photo manager pro. I am able to make folders for the photos to keep them organized by subject or date and it works great. if I want something smaller to carry, and will always have with me, I use the same app on my iPhone.
A laptop is good simply because it has a larger screen, but to show my photos to someone, whether it be a friend, family, or for a small presentation, the ipad works great for my uses.

Normally my phone because it's with me when I travel, but if I know I'm going to show, my tablet (9.5") because it's bigger than the cell and has a great screen and less cumbersome than a laptop.

iPad. 4x3 screen fits m4/3 ratio perfectly.

iPad. Nice display, very fast loading, compatibility with ICloud and Apple TV (which I use to mirror the screen to my HD TV)

Hi. Can you verify that app name? I checked the App Store and don't get a hit on an app with that name. Thanks.

Not true, check out the Nexus Android tablets which are just as good and some are better in terms of resolution and pixel size.
