Walking the beach...Please critique!

I am new to the site and to taking pictures. Here is a picture of my daughter walking toward the ocean...what do you think??

All are cute but I like the second one best. I think if you cropped the image square and added text to the left side it would make a cute Christmas card.

I think I would like #3 the best if all of her hand and her feet were in the picture. You can crop it at just below her waist and see how that looks. Also take the people out in the background with some P/P.
If the above is not possible then try to do some fill light on her in #2. You could also go in the the other direction and make her more of a silhotette. But I would go one way or the other, right now I feel your inthe middle.

I'm going to say photo 1 is my pick....the way she's holding the watering can gives the viewer a little story (or activates a memory) Very sweet photo. thanks

For sure using the camera flash for light fill-in would have greatly improved all of the pictures....
