Welcome to Day 150:) Today we are going to take a look at neighborhoods. This can mean your neighborhood or some other part of town.. or country. For mine I decided to go to a little part of town that is an artisan community. There are lots of art galleries and studios ..Older buildings and tons of murals. Here are a few examples to get us started. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.
I could only get part of this in a pano .. it is a huge long wall all painted
one of the local pubs
and next door to a local restaurant
a peek inside
across the parkinglot is this mansion that they rent out for weddings
there are lots of buildings painted like this
there are flags everywhere
lots of yards with artwork in them
and quite a few old buildings in the process of being refurbished

WOW...cool stuff...England and Scottland and Ireland too are on my list of places to visit. i was in the archives looking for a starter. I was in Israel and thinking well this is a cool neighborhood...and then I went to my home and garden file and thought...this is my neighborhood and then I found this...taken by someone else...I remembered what my daddy once said "it doesnt matter where you are what matters is who you are with" and I realized my neighborhood and home is where ever I am with my man.

What a sweet and true sentiment and so fun to see the two of you together! You are always behind the camera!
Well there isn't much around me except a swamp and pasture... so i thought i would introduce you to my neighbors... To the Northeast we have Bob he's a horse trainer... that's where Sarah-fawn is going to school.... He can do anything and is able to do finish correctly any project I start... To the north is Miss Martha... she is 90 and feeds her 3 cows and bull every at 3pm she also feed 7 Deer, racoons, and 40 wild turkeys all of which seem to be getting tamer. I take Miss Martha to our monthly street fair where she dances with every man... she makes me cakes and gives my dogs treats... a couple times a month we go to lunch.... To the South is Farmer... everyone know him by that name... i have live next to him for 20 years and its the only name i know,, he's 6'4" and looks very scary but is a gentle giant....he has the sign 'Your within range' at the end of his driveway, I'v have only got to know him recently.... To the east is a pasture... OH on occasion we use to be able to watch the shuttle launch from the cape 47 miles away... I've thrown in a couple of photos from a town meeting... we are a real formal group as you can see. For me the neighborhood are the neighbors... we never remember where they lived, just the stories about them.

These photos remind me of the farm in Missouri where I grew. Beautiful photos of real friends and neighbors.
How exciting to see all the places you lived.. i think my favorite photo is the church with the red door... funny that in the USA a school 65 years old would have been torn down and sold for a strip mall... thank you for sharing...

Peanut, lets not give Bushido any credit.. He didn't and cant take a shot like this... You, the photographer had to see and capture the moment that those graceful curtains floating in breeze. after seeing that You were able to get all that data into the camera, so your fabulous print could be made. You made this wonderful image... you should be proud of a magnificent image like this... Its beautiful and your a masterful photo artist... don't forget that.... When you think of Ansel Adams, do you think of his images or the lab guy?
