Thanks for furnishing that link. The info presented there plus my other research points to a high quality machine. At the same time, not very user friendly but it's on my watch list.

Interesting product, and the reviewer seems to like it. However, with a crowdfourcing product, you have to wonder if the company will survive and be able to provide future support.

A very valid point, Jerry. From a consumer pricing standpoint, Czurtek has an affordable product but still has to prove itself in the ways you mentioned. Until that happens, looks like the Scansnap SV600 will have the "contactless" market pretty much to itself, and out of the price range of most consumers.

Crowd funded projects are, at times, great ideas, but without substantial resources to become a viable company. I've seen too many of these ideas fall by the wayside for various reasons, mostly business management. I'd be reluctant to purchase a product from a crowd funded group of creative people.
