Bald Eagle portrait using odd sunshine angle.

The eagle suddenly turned it's face partially away from the sun, giving it a dramatic appearance.
I used 800mm. Hand held. About 125 feet (laser rangefinder measured). Please use download.
Canon 5Dsr - Canon 400 II f4 - Canon 2.0x III - 1/500 - f/11 - ISO @ 800.
Absolutely stunning. One of the best pics of Bald Eagles that I can remember! I love the lighting effect.

Dramatic for sure, Regis! I admire your ability to do these shots handheld. You must be steady as a rock!

Regis, I enjoy your photos. Here in Wisconsin there was a set of eagles I enjoyed taking photos of. But this year a the nest was taken over by a third eagle and all of them have not returned. I admire your work and look for your post. Thanks
