The latest Sony A7R II has a 42.4mp sensor. I would guess that will show up in the D810 replacement unless there's an even newer one in the works. Photokina is in September. If it's announced there, and I'm not sure it will be, then you may be able to get one by December (just guessing). But even guessing, that's probably a best case... sounds like you have GAS ..gear acquisition syndrome. Whats wrong with your 810?quote=Stevep5050]Has anyone heard of a replacement for the Nikon 810?
If I was looking for an upgrade to the 810....I'd look for an Expeed 5 processor and the same AF system as the D5 and D500 as well as an electronic shutter. Whether or not the latest Sony sensor would be included might depend on the number of fps Nikon wants to include in this new monster full frame. Why not just enlarge the D7200 sensor to full frame?
