Has anyone updated Mac OS to most recent 12.10.2 version?
I use the NIK Collection and know Google does not support it anymore, and was wondering if any NIK features were affected.

Thanks, Bob

Thank you, I am just learning NIK and like it.
I may have to check Lightroom updates in the future (I assume).

Bob - Could you provide additional details regarding this announcement? When and where was it announced that Google will no longer support the Nik Collection? Are they abandoning Nik altogether or just saying they don"t plan to add new features? Is Google coming out with something else? If so, when?

NIK still works great on Mac OS 10.12.1...did you reverse the OS numbers?

It's done! No service and no new anything. Basically use at you own risk. Could it last another 10 years, maybe. Could it die with the next change in your operating system, also a maybe.

Like others in this thread, I've used Nik Collection tools recently with Mac OS-X 10.12.2 Sierra and did not experience any edit problems or damaged files. I would suggest the story of Google's abandonment of Nik is currently a myth.

Thank you, Pithy, but my question was directed to Bogen Bob.

Question, why to people get all exited when any program is no longer Supported?????????????? Heck, I'm still using aperture. I got Nik back when you had to pay for it. It was a good program then and a good program now, and will continue to be a good program well into the future.. I do use a mack, which seems to get along with/allow/ other programs as they update.. I forgot the other guys use the other company.......

Martin buddy, I'm not "exited" at all. The OP began with a strong statement to the effect that Google is no longer supporting the Nik Collection. Does that mean if we call Google with a question about Nik that Google doesn't answer the phone or return an email tech support inquiry? If yes, then the product is truly no longer supported. If no, then the OP's strong statement is not worth a bucket of warm spit (and, yes Mr. Admin, I cleaned that up). The OP is the "exited" one. I'm just challenging him to put up or shut up.

Don't get me wrong, I love Nik, but everybody knows that you can do everything in Photoshop proper that you can do in Nik, right?
