Looking for a simple walk around holster type bag that will accommodate the camera with 18-135mm and battery grip.
I saw this on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001TZUS98/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1NGP96SMJG288&coliid=IJHCNP4IOXWYS&psc=1
I like the style and simplicity of it but I don't think it will work with a battery grip attached.
Anyone have suggestions?
Thanks,

Think Tank Digital Holster 40 v2. It even expands so you can use it with a 70-200 lens. The top is almost square and will accommodate a mounted battery grip. I've been using one with my Canon 7D Mark II, mounted OEM battery grip and Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 lens. When I first got it, I was still using the slightly smaller gripped Canon 60D. Both camera fit the bag just fine, and so will the 80D. I would buy another one in a heart beat. Its not cheap, but its what I use. See the link below. It will support a full sized camera like a Nikon D5 or a Canon 1DX Mark II as well as gripped bodies like your's and mine. It may not look as pretty as the bag you posted, but its rugged and durable. I've had mine at least 3 years I think. You can buy it direct from them or from B&H and other dealers. The price is $84.75 at both places.

Thanks for the info on the bag.
It is a little more than I wanted to spend, but it is expandable for longer lenses.

This an excellent bag at an excellent price, not being made any more. Possibly a bit bigger than the OP wants but amazingly versatile.

Mine holds a DSLR with grip and 18-135, 10-22, 70-300, 50, 60 macro and various bits and pieces. Optional side pockets add another lens and flash. Fits as carry on luggage under the seat or in overhead bins even on regional jets.

I like mine so much I bought a spare at this price. Highly recommended.

Hello there - have you considered the Think Tank brand? I have one and absolutely LOVE the quality and the good design. They come on all shapes and sizes, but this is the one that is similar to mine. Take a look at their website. I believe I got mine at B&H. You won't be disappointed.

Measure your camera appropriately for LxWxH. On the product page for the bag it states Fits Devices - 8.3" (l) x 6.5" (w) x 5" (h). That should tell you whether it will be doable. I'd allow a small amount larger to make sure it fits within tolerances.

I am somewhat reluctant with Amazon bags for weight capacity. I had a strap tear within a few months of use on a backpack. You should be fine with your Case Logic Bag. I wouldn't buy anything TOO CHEAP. Your trying to protect your investment.

I never keep a camera in a bag. To many lost shots by the time you get the camera out of the bag. Use a bag for carrying extra lenses and keep your camera out ready to shoot. I learned this from a Pro back when I was 14 or 15 years old and it has served me well over the years and I'm now 83.....Rich

I indicated it was pricey, but it definitely will meet your needs. Anything else could end up being a compromise that you will later regret.

Having a bag for a camera doesn't mean you have to put it back in after every shot. I'll often leave mine in the car, or leave it empty on my shoulder(the Think Tank holster is very light) while I'm shooting, depending on my needs. The Think Tank bag I mentioned above is a one camera/one lens easy to carry solution. You need to know which lens you will likely need for that shoot. Its holds a single camera, mounted battery grip and mounted lens and would meet the OP's requirement.

I have two Case Logic bags; SLRC 206 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002DW99H8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Backpack
and SLRC 202 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001TZWNF0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I use the 202 for a walk-around bag. Hold my camera with 24 - 70mm L lens and two kit lenses in the side pockets. That's about it. The Backpack holds 100-400L, 100macro, 18 - 135EFs, nifty fifty, 55-250EFs and 18-55EFs as well as charge and batteries.

I seriously doubt either would be able to handle the battery grip however. I do love the drop in the top feature of the backpack. Both are very well constructed.

There are few bags, other than the Think Tank holster, that will hold just a camera, mounted battery grip and a mounted lens.
