Post Processed Photos Won't Upload Correctly

I use Lightroom 3, Topaz Labs and Nix Softwear. I shoot in Raw and convert to jpeg for upload with AVS Image Converter.
Now for my problem. When ever I post process a photo, no matter what softwear I'm using, when I go to upload the photo only the orginal un-edited photo is up loaded. I have changed the file name (in LR), changed file location everthing I can think of. I upload to Fan Art Review and Deviant Art.com. Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to make this problem as clear as possible.

This may be a simple clarifying question... You said you put the JPG at the end of the filename, but are you sure it is saving it as a JPG. AS a support techie I have seen many people not changing the File Type when saving a file, then wondering why the file did not show up.
